ACM's Support Staff

Mary Turner

Mary Turner is our amazing Office Manager.  Most have seen her at the Joplin Regional Stockyards where she has worked for 17+ years. She took over as our Office Manager in 2017. She has two kids, Kara and Kale as well as 2 dogs and 2 cats. She also is a breeder for rodeo stock as well as a real estate agent. In what little times she has left, she loves to read, be on the farm, and spend time with her family and pets. 

Heather Waltrip is a pleasant addition to our reception staff, with her warm and inviting smile. She joined us in August of 2013 as a full time Receptionist and now is our Head Receptionist. Heather is married and they have a young son. In her free time, she likes to cook and make memories with her friends and family. Heather enjoys life and all those who are in hers!

Shelby Clark

Shelby Clark joined our team November 2016 as a receptionist. Shelby is now our Inventory Manager, working hard to keep both the clinic and the Joplin Regional Stockyards completely stocked. Shelby is married and has one son, SJ. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family. 

Alisha Bailey

Alisha joined the Animal Clinic of Monett team of September 2017 as our wonderful receptionist. She was born and raised in Cassville and currently lives with her two boys, Kelby and Silas. In what little time she has left, she loves to shop, be outdoors, and spend time with her family. Since working at the clinic, she hopes to adopt a dog in the future. 
A SoCal native, Ann Branch moved to Monett 20 years ago, at which time she became a client at ACM. She is now a valued member of our reception staff. Ann enjoys the slower pace in Monett which gives her more time to spend with family and friends. She loves to walk her dog Wiley (an ACM adoption), music, yoga, and baking.

Amelia Dodson Pic

Amelia Dodson joined our receptionist team of August 2017. She is originally from Monett and currently lives in Wentworth with her husband and three kids. With her family, she has poultry houses, cattle, cats, and her dog Coco. In her spare time, she loves to spend time with family/ friends, go shopping, and remodeling houses. 
Diaz

Veronica Diaz joined our team in 2015 as our new bi-lingual technician as well as our part time groomer. Veronica and her husband moved from Chicago to a farm in the Monett area in 2006. She has 3 sons, Allen, Aiden, and Anthony.  She also has 3 dogs, Lucy, Luke, and Creeper. She always knew working with animals was her dream job.“There’s never a dull moment at Animal Clinic of Monett” says Veronica. “I love my job!”

Christy Cornelius

Christy Cornelius has been with the ACM family since 2015 as one of our technicians. Christy worked in human health care for several years and is very excited to be working with animals here at ACM. She has already earned the trust of several of our more timid patients with her gentle voice and kind demeanor. Christy has 2 children and 2 grandchildren to keep her occupied, plus horses, cows, chickens, turkeys, dogs, and cats.

Chavarria

Leslie Chavarria was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She joined our team as a technician January 2017 and is now our Head Technician. Leslie worked at a boarding kennel and a veterinary clinic in Texas. In her spare time she loves to read, spend time in her garden, and cook. Leslie has 3 dogs and 6 cats, and is excited to be working in a clinic again. She is currently a student at Crowder pursuing a degree in Animal Science.

Sam

Samantha Moennig joined the ACM family in February of 2017. She started off as a receptionist and has now transitioned to serving as one of wonderful veterinary technicians. She grew up in Miller and now lives in Freistatt with her husband.  She has 3 dogs, 2 cats, and her flock of chickens. In her spare time Samantha loves coaching the girls volleyball and track teams at Trinity Lutheran School. She also enjoys hiking, fishing, riding, being on the farm, and anything else outdoors! 
Angie Strong

Angie Strong has been working at the Animal Clinic of Monett since January of 2002. When not taking care of the kennel and hospitalized animals, she is at home on the farm caring for my husband, 3 children, and a host of pets. Angie says “I enjoy many aspects of my job, especially loving on the animals, but also cleaning up after everyone because I have made many dear friends that truly feel like family to me. I have lived in the Wentworth area for most of my life. I feel very blessed to have a job that I can enjoy and people and animals that I love dearly!” We’re blessed having you here, Angie! Angie is pictured with her little one-eyed Chihuahua/Papillon/Dachshund mix canine best friend/nap buddy "Dottie", whom she adopted from the clinic many years ago

Shelby Strong started at the Animal Clinic of Monett in July 2015 as a member of our kennel staff. She has lived in Wentworth her entire life. When not working at the clinic, Shelby likes to quilt and work on her small farm that mainly consists of Registered Irish Dexter Cattle and an assortment of chickens. Shelby enjoys spending time with her family, friends, cat "Fuzz", and dog "Rowdy", whom she adopted from the clinic.


Renkoski

Cathy Renkoski worked at the Animal Clinic of Monett from 2002 to 2006, then returned in 2012 as a member of the kennel staff. She enjoys being with the animals in the kennel and working with the veterinarians. When she's not in the clinic Cathy is a full time childcare provider. Cathy is married and has a son and 3 grandchildren. In her spare time she raises registered Pembroke Welsh Corgi and registered Irish Dexter Cattle. She also has 4 registered Quarter Horses. She has lived on a farm in Wentworth most of her life. Cathy enjoys rodeos, basketball, and baseball. She is pictured here with her dog Snickers.
